  • Magnesium machines with less energy than any metal.
  • Magnesium can, in many cases, be die cast cheaper than Aluminum and many engineered plastics.
  • Magnesium has a low affinity for steel allowing for longer die life.
  • Magnesium in some alloys can be extruded as efficiently as aluminum.
  • Magnesium when forged at high temperatures can allow great amounts of forming to occur in fewer steps.
