- Magnesium machines with less energy than any metal.
- Magnesium can, in many cases, be die cast cheaper than Aluminum and many engineered
plastics.
- Magnesium has a low affinity for steel allowing for longer die life.
- Magnesium in some alloys can be extruded as efficiently as aluminum.
- Magnesium when forged at high temperatures can allow great amounts of forming to occur in
fewer steps.
